Yaeram PARK is working as principal flutist at “ L’Orchestre National
d’Avignon-Provence” in France since 2017 and as a flute teacher at “Conservatoire à
Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur” (CRR de Saint-Maur) since 2018

Childhood

She passed the grade 8 flute of ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of
Music) with distinction at the age of 10. In 2010, at the age of 13, she got a music
diploma “Diplôme d’Etudes Musicales” (DEM) unanimously at CRR de Saint-Maur in
the class of Philippe Lesgourgues and after 2 years, she got “Diplôme d’Etudes
Musicales Supérieur” (DEMS) in “Perfectionnement-Concertiste” level, unanimously
with Claude Lefebvre and Michel Moragues at CRR de Paris. She passed
unanimously the entrance exam and got her Bachelor degree “Diplôme National
Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien” (DNSPM), Master degree and also an “Diplôme
d’Artiste Interprète-Classique” (3rd cycle-DAI) with Sophie Cherrier at Conservatoire
National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).

Competitions

From 2005, for 2 years, she got 1st prize at 9 important competitions in Korea and was chosen by The Music Journal Magazine as “A very bright prospect flutist in this year”. From 2008 to 2010, she got 1 st prize at Concours Européen de musique en Picardie, at Le Parnass competition, at Jeunesses International Music Competition, and at Concours International du Jeune Flûtiste. She got 5th prize at Beijing
International Flute Music Competition (2012), the “Rookie of the year award” from The Music Association of Korea (2013), 3 rd prize (2 nd prize not awarded) in International Flute Competition Krakow (2014), 3 rd prize at Carl Nielsen International Competition and 2 nd prize at Concours International de Maxence Larrieu-Nice (2015).

Recitals

Since her debut recital, at the age of 9, she performed with Russian Symphony
Orchestra in Moscow and at the ceremony of UN World Human Rights Days concert,
where Ban Ki-Moon attended. In 2008, she performed with Bangkok Symphony
Orchestra at the National Theater of Korea and in 2009 with Chuncheon Symphony
Orchestra. Moreover in 2012, she had a recital at Korean Cultural Center in Paris and
had concert tour (France, Korea and Thailand) with Michel Moragues. In 2013, she
was invited to play at the 31th Korea International Music Festival with Seong-Nam
Philharmonic Orchestra under Soo-Yeoul CHOI (in Seoul Art Center-Concert hall).
She is a member of “Association Jeunes Talents” in France as a flutist and also a
member of Ensemble Rafiki, a wind quintet.
